oh, dry heaving

My mom told me she didn't throw up during her pregnancy, but she would dry heave when she brushed her teeth. Knowing this, I am extra careful when I brush my teeth now while I'm pregnant. But maybe every other day the dry heaving will start when I'm almost finished brushing my teeth no matter how careful I am. Maybe once a week, I will even throw up a bit. I will be there for 60 seconds... or 120 seconds just waiting for this horrendous act to pass. :/ And then I'm ready to semi start my day, lol.
